It is great that this data is being collected, stored, and shared. The interface is also user friendly and an open source to the community. People from all sorts of different backgrounds can utilize this tool and can make data driven decisions.

There is so much rich data to explore here. Our agency is a non-profit that works on neighborhood improvement projects - mostly public and all community driven. The information in this resource will be invaluable to us in preparing grant applications and identifying areas of need.

Virtual Community Training Schedule

At community training workshops, participants will learn to access data for specific neighborhoods and cities within Los Angeles County, learn more about the data and understand why specific data sets are important, and conceptualize data stories to better tell the stories of their community. 

Trainings are held on the 3rd Wednesday of every month for one hour – now virtual! Trainings are open to the public and free to attend.
